The lens does not work well for cat1 conditions, same challenge as with cat 2-3 lenses, ie you do not see the contours of the slope well. The helmet also fell 20 cm to the floor from a small bench and got a deep scratch on it right away. Luckily not straight in front of the eyes… guessing these will be full of scratches after a couple of seasons. The aerodynamics are poor, and there's a whistling sound in the ears. Tested with two different units. The bluish base photochromic lens, however, is partly disappointing. It works well only in strong sunlight, in ”white” or foggy weather and/or in diminishing light it becomes practically unusable due to loss of details and contours of the slope.
