The lens does not work well for cat1 conditions, same challenge as with cat 2-3 lenses, ie you do not see the contours of the slope well. The helmet also fell 20 cm to the floor from a small bench and got a deep scratch on it right away. Luckily not straight in front of the eyes… guessing these will be full of scratches after a couple of seasons. Lens too big and prone to get hits during transports etc. unless u screw the lens off.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2025-02-22</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2025-02-22" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1180888159"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Tahkoman</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Poor Aerodynamics and Limited Visibility</span> <span itemprop="description">Based on a couple of days of skiing, I can't fully recommend it. The aerodynamics are poor, and there's a whistling sound in the ears. Tested with two different units. The standard lens is decent, but when the light dims, it's hard to distinguish the contours of the slope.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2025-02-16</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2025-02-16" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1156878108"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Lankku</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Helmet is great, photo visor not so if no sun</span> <span itemprop="description">The helmet itself is great and visor works well over the glasses. The bluish base photochromic lens, however, is partly disappointing. It works well only in strong sunlight, in ”white” or foggy weather and/or in diminishing light it becomes practically unusable due to loss of details and contours of the slope. Thus the lens is not suitable for ”all weather use” as specified.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-02-23</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-02-23" /> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2026, m_8, d_6, h_10</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.48</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_4</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_FI, sid_AN5006282_bv36_, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=RATING, direction=DESCENDING), SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_atomic</li> </ul> <!--end-bvseo-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEOSDK_meta" style="display:none !important;"> <li data-bvseo="sdk">bvseo_sdk, p_sdk, 3.2.1</li> <li data-bvseo="sp_mt">CLOUD, getReviews, 90.24ms</li> <li data-bvseo="ct_st">REVIEWS, PRODUCT</li> </ul>
