With 17 podiums this season, the Atomic Nordic skis have been leaving its marks in the World Cup this season and the World Championships in Planica did nothing less than underlining this: 15 medals were achieved on Redster skis, thereof 5 in gold, and Simen Krüger reached the next milestone in his career.
With Olympic Champion Victoria Carl (silver, relay), Julia Kern (bronze, team sprint) and Janosch Brugger (bronze, relay) three XC athletes celebrated their first medals at World Championships.
The same applies to Stefan Rettenegger who won bronze with the Austrian Nordic Combined team both in the Mixed and Men’s Team competition, the latter one together with Lukas Greiderer.
Their teammate Franz Josef Rehrl had an unintentionally short - due to sickness - but successful appearance: 3rd place in the Normal Hill competition, which marks his fourth bronze medal at World Championships.
WE KNEW THAT SIMEN WAS IN GOOD SHAPE BUT THREE GOLD MEDALS ARE OUTSTANDING, ALSO ANNE KJERSTI, TIRIL, VICI AND JULIA ON THE WOMEN’S SIDE. IT’S GOOD TO SEE THAT WE WERE SUCCESSFUL ACROSS ALL DISCIPLINES INCL. NORDIC COMBINED AND ALL NATIONS!
