Description
Whether it’s all-mountain, freeride or freestyle, the Atomic Strive 12 GW ski binding delivers a super stable platform that excels in every situation and snow condition.
An alpine ski binding with limitless capabilities, the lightweight Atomic Strive 12 allows you to ski exactly the way you want, wherever you want. The low center of gravity LDN Toe places the binding closer to the ski for better next-to-snow feel, more direct response and quicker reaction throughout the turn. Automatic Toe Adaptation automatically adapts to alpine normed and GripWalk boots to ensure constant release values. A slightly ramped chassis positions the skier in a more neutral stance. The super light 3-part heel offers easy step-in while delivering convenience, comfort, and consistency. The binding is compatible with all GripWalk boot soles. One of the lightest DIN-12 bindings on the market, the robust Strive 12 GW shaves weight without compromising durability by using metal only where it’s truly needed. The result is an all-mountain binding with a lower swing weight for easier maneuverability and strong, proficient skiing all day long.

Terrible ordering Process, Fine product
This was one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences I’ve had in years.
My order sat in a “processing” state with no explanation and no proactive communication from Atomic. What made this unacceptable was not just the delay, but the total failure of customer service during that delay. I submitted two customer service requests, both of which stated a response time of approximately 24 hours. Both were ignored for over 48 hours. I also called customer service twice, only to walk away without any meaningful update or clarity on what was happening with my order.
At no point could anyone tell me why the order was delayed, how long it would take, or whether it would be smarter to cancel. That lack of basic information is exactly why customer service exists, and Atomic failed completely in that regard.
Because I had an upcoming trip and could not afford to gamble on an order stuck in limbo, I was forced to purchase the same bindings from Atomic’s sister company, Salomon. To ensure they arrived in time, I had to pay for expedited shipping—$25 total, $15 more than standard shipping—an expense I would never have incurred if Atomic had provided even minimal communication or transparency.
The most frustrating part is that this situation was entirely avoidable. I wasn’t asking for special treatment—just an update or guidance on whether canceling made sense. Instead, I was met with silence. When a company advertises a response timeframe and then completely ignores it, it erodes trust fast.
Atomic may make good products, but their order processing and customer support systems are deeply flawed. If you’re ordering anything time-sensitive, be prepared for delays, unanswered messages, and having to solve the problem yourself.
