Upon bringing them to the ski shop to have the skis set up for her, we were informed that the bindings provided in this ski set are not suitable for children her size as the DIN settings do not go low enough. To be specific, she is 8 years old, 4'6" tall and she weighs in at 55 pounds - we classified her as a level 2 skier, and as such, based on the DIN settings for her age, weight and ski level, she should have a DIN setting of 1.5. Unfortunately these bindings only go down to a DIN setting of 2, (she would need to be at least 67 pounds with the same age and height to be able to use these skis) so this combination of Ski's and Bindings will not work for her or anyone similar in size.
