The ski of choice for Atomic freeride athletes like Izzy Lynch and Arianna Tricomi, the Atomic Backland 107 W delivers freeride touring performance in a wide, lightweight package. At 107mm underfoot this is Atomic’s widest women’s touring ski but the ski is weight optimized for easy ascending thanks to a full-length Carbon Backbone and Ultra Light Woodcore. The Powder Rocker profile and revolutionary HRZN Tech in the tip deliver more surface area for maximum float in deep pow. Capable of charging through crud and chop with total confidence, a Dura Cap Sidewall allows for smooth and stable handling on harder snow. A ski for intense lines and proven on the Freeride World Tour, Atomic Backland 107 W offers next level performance for a next level skiing experience.

Playful and stable
If I had to ski one ski for the rest of my life, this would be the one. I find this ski to be very stable considering it´s a touring ski. It´s playful, floats great on powder and provides with good stability and downhill performance. I mostly use it for touring but I´ve had a few resort days on it and I still really enjoy in on groomers.

Light but Without Sacrifice!
The Backland 107 is so light compared to other touring touring skis with a similar waist width, without sacrificing performance. Nothing is worse than a touring ski that becomes chattery at high speeds, but these are so stable. The 107 is really a do it all ski, they handle pow but are still nimble, can't wait to see how they do on corn skiing in the spring!

Playful, capable and light
I LOVE the backland 107. These are my go-to touring ski with the Backland Tour binding. They are super light, but unlike other light skis I have used, the are sufficiently stiff in variable snow and don't feel chattery. They're a blast in powder and also fun to carve in corn.
