- When I was a little girl, a friend of mine told me on the school playground that one day I would compete at the Olympics. I remember thinking she was silly and that running faster than the other kids didn't mean anything for my future. Well, here I am, an Olympian several years later...

- Ski mountaineering allows me to experience so many emotions: the beauty of the mountains, the challenge of pushing my limits, the adrenaline of a fast descent and the simple joy of being surrounded by nature.
