Bilan de la saison Freeski 2025/2026 – Montée en puissance pendant l’hiver

The 2025/2026 season came together the way a good winter does - piece by piece. Different venues, different disciplines, but the same pattern: showing up, landing runs, and staying in the mix.

By the end, it added up to 29 podiums, including seven wins and four Olympic medals. Not built on one result, but on consistency across the season.

Momentum Through the Season

The Snow League set things in motion. At the first stop, Atomic athletes took five of six podium spots, then backed it up with half the podium again in Laax. Right in the middle of it, Luke Harrold and Brendan Mackay went head-to-head - Brendan taking Secret Garden, Luke answering in Laax to lock in the overall.

That back-and-forth carried into the rest of the winter. Luke stepped into his first World Cup win, a natural next step in a season that kept building. Brendan found his moment at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, putting down a bronze medal run when it counted.

Depth in Every Discipline

Across the pipe, the depth was there all season. Li Fanghui stacked podiums and finished it with Olympic silver, while Zhang Kexin held it together across the calendar to take third overall in the World Cup standings.

In slopestyle and big air, Megan Oldham had one of those seasons that stands out. Gold in Big Air, bronze in Slopestyle - strong, composed, and fully her own.

And beyond the park, freeride followed the same rhythm. Justine Dufour-Lapointe opened with a second-place finish at the inaugural FWT World Championships, while Kai Jones made an immediate impact - third place in his first start on the FWT stage. Across the full season, Sybille Blanjean finished second overall on the Freeride World Tour, with Justine close behind in third. Different lines, same consistency from start to finish.

A Season That Came Together

It wasn’t one highlight that defined the season. It was the way it all connected - athletes pushing each other, building through the winter, and showing what’s possible when it comes together.
