All-day comfort. All-day performance.
A New Era of Ski Boot Construction
Our goal with Nexus was to create a boot that redefines convenience, offering best-in-class fit, all-day comfort, and trusted Atomic performance.
Starting with handmade prototypes and 3D-printed iterations, the Atomic R&D team spent over two years refining shapes, construction methods, and closure systems and conducting rigorous on-snow testing.
The result is a boot designed to meet the needs of modern skiers, without any compromise.

NexStep Construction
NexStep Construction creates that missing link between making it easy to get in and out of your ski boots (finally!) while delivering on performance.
QuickFlip Lever
QuickFlip is an easy-to-grab rear lever that opens the boot for effortless step-in and
step-out. Once you're in, adjust the cable tension as needed, then flip the
lever down to lock in a secure fit for responsive, powerful skiing.
Set-and-Forget Buckle
Adjust the Set-and-Forget Buckle once for the right fit and volume around your leg –
and that’s it. There’s no need to readjust or open it every time to get in or
out of the boot.
BOA® Fit System Alpine
BOA®‘s H+i1 platform offers improved shell wrapping with bi-directional
micro adjustments.

Inside Our Factory
Crafted with precision
Core Shaping
Atomic designs and engineers Alpine and Nordic ski equipment steps from where it is manufactured in Altenmarkt, Austria, with additional manufacturing in Chepelare, Bulgaria.
Base & Edge Prep
Every ski starts with the base material and metal edges being precisely cut and prepared for the layup process.
02Sandwich layup
Layer by layer, materials are stacked in precise order — each one engineered for specific performance characteristics.
03Resin & Pressing
Under extreme pressure and heat, the layered materials bond together to form a single, high-performance structure.
04Finishing
Final grinding, tuning, and quality checks ensure every ski meets Atomic's exacting standards before leaving the factory.
