- In the 2008/09 season, Dario Cologna became the first Swiss ever to win the overall World Cup in cross-country skiing. He has won four gold medals at the Olympic Games and one at the World Championships. He has won the Tour de Ski four times and the overall ranking of the cross-country skiing World Cup. Dario Cologna retired from competitive sports in 2022 and now serves as Atomic ambassador.
