The Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 115 BOA W GW is built for female freeride skiers who want a powerful touring boot to venture beyond the resort. This low-volume 98mm last boot is the stiffest flex in the women’s Hawx Ultra XTD line. The BOA® Fit System wraps the foot while providing comfort and increased foothold. Constructed with Prolite technology, the shell starts with a slim profile before adding reinforcement to key areas for extra stability. Memory Fit offers customization of shell and cuff, paired with a heat-moldable Mimic Platinum Liner that can be formed around the foot and ankle for power and comfort. Position the adjustable Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Tongue to fit different foot shapes and instep heights. This touring boot comes with Free/Lock 4.5, a robust, external ski/walk mechanism that securely locks the cuff to the shell and has adjustable forward lean. The cuff offers 54º of range of motion for a relaxed stride and comfort when standing. An adaptive GripWalk Sole is compatible with all GripWalk, MN, MNC and pin bindings.

Comfortable but tongues pops off
I find these boots extremely comfortable and love the fit and feel of them. Although, the adjustable tongue popping out almost every time I go to put the boots on makes me almost lose my mind. I have had a time where I am trying g to put the boot on, and I pull the tongue out 4 times in a row. Every time the tongue pops out you have to take the liner out reattach the tongue then put it back in the shell. I am not sure if it just the Velcro or if my boots specifically are defective, but it can be incredible frustrating since these boots are so expensive. I have the non-boa version but the liner is the exact same as these ones and have heard the same complaint from others as well.
