In preparation for the 2018 / 2019 season with the prestigious Nordic World Championships in Seefeld the Russian cross-country skier Evgeniy Belov will also be counting on the race support of the Atomic Redster Nordic Unit, following the world-class biathlete Simon Eder who signed up recently. After the performance test results with the new Redster material convinced him Belov also signed a two-year contract.

In the end it’s the performance that counts. And just like the emotional return of the six time biathlon medal winner Simon Eder to the Atomic team, the test results for the Russian cross-country athlete also tipped the scales for Evgeniy Belov to change over to the Atomic Nordic Unit in preparation for the World Championship season. Just like Eder, Belov was also fascinated by the speed of the Redster set up in different conditions.

THE MISSING PIECE OF THE PUZZLE: UNIVERSAL PERFORMANCE
The 28 year old Russian is now at his best age for an athlete. After dramatic experiences in his career he carried out in-depth potential analyses of his own performance together with the top German cross-country trainer Marcus Cramer (who among other things was responsible for the revival of the Swiss cross-country team). The outcome: to be able to perform his best on the loipe Evgeniy also needs an individual material set up for constant performance.

“Evgeniy is said to have great potential in the Nordic scene and we want to support him on his journey to develop it. Part of this is not only the high-end race material but also the individual support: it’s great he decided to go with the passion package made in Altenmarkt.”

MY SPORTING PERFORMANCE NEEDS THIS EXTRA PUSH
With the Atomic tests it quickly became clear the Evgeniy Belov’s cross-country feeling and the performance analyses produce a duplicate image. The result: the Russian top cross-country skier will be skiing on Redster material from Altenmarkt for the next two years. “I’ve changed a lot over the last few years to continuously improve my performance. Now even the material set up. With Atomic I’ve chosen the right manufacturer as the material and athlete support are excellent. Atomic also supports each athlete individually and integrates any advances in material development extremely quickly.”
