The Atomic team now holds six medals. This World Championship certainly is the best presentation spot for the Redster rocket of the next ski dimension - the new Atomic Redster G9, the first ski with power steering. Coming up soon.
In the Alpine Combined, less than the blink of an eye was missing for the first Redster World Championship title 2017. Marcel Hirscher was only a single hundredth of a second too late for his title defense. Rank 28 in Downhill, which he had achieved, using the bronze-skis of colleague Max Franz, meant for him the starting number 3 in the final. A great run, a mini-mistake in front of the finish line: "The bad luck with the hundredths will hopefully come back as good luck. Congratulations to Luca Ärni, he was just better today. I didn’t perfectly make the entrance to the last hairpin.” With regards to the special slalom, the competition didn’t lead to specific conclusions.
