The Atomic stars outperformed the Redster best case at the Ski World Championship in St. Moritz: 8 medals in 7 races after the women’s Giant Slalom (and without the team competition). Will the Atomic team win a third of all possible medals? Quite possibly.

The Redster racers continue to rock the Ski World Championship in St. Moritz. They not only keep on track, but also the pace of this season: Virtually no race without Atomic athletes on the podium! Right at the peak of this season, the team remains a role model for uniformity. And at the women's Giant Slalom there already happened the next medal double-deck (after silver and bronze in the men's combination by Marcel Hirscher and Mauro Caviezel): Mikaela Shiffrin won her first Giant Slalom medal at a major event. And Sofia Goggia showed herself and the entire world once again that defeats won’t crack her, but actually act as a driving force for her next races. The true athletes are thus responsible for the Atomic count of eight medals out of seven races.

3 GOLD OPPORTUNITIES: DOES A THIRD OF ALL MEDALS GO TO ATOMIC?
"The medal yield is really impressive, even if we still lacked that tiny little bit of luck it needs for gold. Our true opportunities are really ahead now. The chance to take home a third of the medals from St. Moritz is viable", explains Christian Höflehner, Global Race Manager in the successful Atomic team.

In fact, the three promising competitions for Atomic Gold are yet to come: Marcel Hirscher & Co. still see a Giant Slalom and a Slalom ahead of them. In the women's Slalom the way to victory is principally through Mikaela Shiffrin.

ATOMIC G9: THE SKI EYE CATCHER AS A WOW EFFECT
The real eye catcher of this World Championship is the new Atomic Redster G9, the next generation of skis with the entire know-how of the Redster race departement. The first ski in the world with servo steering will do what every innovation from Altenmarkt has done before: revolutionize skiing. Atomic's new Servotec technology: Developed by the best on the racetrack to make everyone a better skier.
