Then look at German Redster Combined athlete Fabian Rießle who won Gold and Silver at the World Championships, his colleague Lukas Geiderer who raced onto the podium for the first time (the three times Bronze winner Franz-Josef Rehrl has been part of the Atomic team for longer). Evgeniy Belov celebrated his first win the World Cup in his debut year for the cross-country skiers. And after his really big breakthrough as the Double Olympic Winner and Silver medal winner in Pyeongchang, Simen Hegstad Krueger finished season 1 with 4th place in the Overall World Cup. A great performance, despite the hype, that surrounds the cross-country star in Norway. And last but not least, Simon Eder who can also be really happy with his performance this winter after his comeback to Atomic, with 8th place in the Overall World Cup.
