After a five-week hiatus, Atomic's poster child Hanna Falk returned to the cross-country World Cup this weekend - without having lost her good shape of the first season quarter. At the skating sprint in the South Tyrolean Toblach, the 27-year-old Swede achieved the third place, just as in qualifying and landed two and a half seconds behind rank 1. Hanna's third podium after Lillehammer (classic technique) and Davos. "I went into the races very aggressively to leave nothing to chance, gave everything I had to give." It was enough to advance to the second place in the Sprint World Cup. In the team competition on Sunday Hanna achieved the second rank together with her Swedish colleagues.

At the Biathlon World Cup in Ruhpolding the Swiss Benjamin Weger confirmed his great shooting performance and with no errors in the Sprint and a 1:10 minutes deficit placed himself at the11th position.
