Four other Redster racers made the Top 20 in Marcel’s shadow. After two consecutive mistakes in the 1st run Manuel Feller was only 13th, but then fought his way back up to 5th place after a courageous run to catch up. “He’s ensured his place in the first starting group, he did everything right”, praised Höflehner. In the downhill Andreas Sander stood out on the Hahnenkamm and managed 6th place, in the absence of Max Franz who was ill. The team colleague of the sensational winner Dreßen was on course for a place on the podium, until the last section time, but still managed to achieve his best downhill result in the World Cup so far.
