VALENTIN’S DAY: FOOTBALL TALENT ON CROSS-COUNTRY SKIS IS AIMING FOR 2022
Valentin is dreaming of the best success at the Olympic Games. The Atomic youngster (22) from Prémanon in France is putting all his energy into it. Sure: cross-country skiing is his thing. But not his only one: Chauvin plays the drums and everything else that’s round: football, tennis (his attitude idol is Novak Djokovic), bowling. As fond of ball sports as he is, every day off the loipe is also a Valentin’s day. What tip would Chauvin give to younger athletes on their way? “Enjoy it and listen to your parents!” His focus is on the five Olympic rings: his target is Peking in 2022. His two wins in the Continental Cup and his best World Cup result to-date (25th in the Lahti sprint) convince us: his long-term future is looking bright.
