Lotta Udnes Weng

Norway

LOTTA’S NOT ON HER WAY TO THE TOP IN WORLD-CLASS SPORT ON HER OWN

Just like her twin sister Tiril, she’s got used to the twin hype by now. Fact is both of the turbo twins have a lot in common, also impressive medal statistics. Together they’ve achieved 17 medals, which they’ve won in international and national cross-country skiing competitions. Lotta can feel in every cell in her body whether she’s in her best shape or not. Last winter the pedagogy student improved her performance a lot with the power double pole push and achieved the U23 World Championship title in skiathlon. What does she love most about cross-country skiing? Nature, the feeling in her body, experiencing herself, the people, the challenge and that she can share this enthusiasm with Tiril. Cross-country skiing is obviously a family thing: her cousin’s twin is no less than Heidi Weng, the four times World Champion.
