She ticked reliable as a clockwork throughout the entire season - now Atomic’s Nordic poster child Hanna Falk also delivered at the World Cup finals in Québec, Canada.

In the Skate sprint, the 27-year-old Swede achieved third place for the fifth time this season with a superior qualifying time (1.7 seconds ahead). After winning second place in the quarter and semifinals, Falk finished 2.58 seconds behind. In the overall Sprint score, she also accomplished third place with 359 points after 10 season competitions.

Though, Kathrine Rolsted Harsem from Norway took 13th in the Overall World Cup as the best Redster athlete. In Québec, the 28-year-old Norwegian once again demonstrated her balance: 14th in the Sprint, missing the semifinals by only 11 hundredths, even 9th position in the mass start competition over 10 km Classic only being 23.5 seconds behind the best time. Team colleague Marthe Kristoffersen finished her sprint with place 18.

For Simen Hegstad Krueger the winter ended with a minor disappointment. The 24-year-old (he just celebrated his birthday last Monday), finished 43rd in his weaker technique (Classic) and had to be satisfied with rank 38 in his skating pursuit, despite a 22nd best running time after his Redster team mates Jonas Baumann (SUI / 28th) and Giandomenico Salvadori (ITA / 30th). Hegstad Krueger's season balance is still positive. Skating in Toblach to 3rd place, the Norwegian stood on the podium for the first time in his career and celebrated his first World Cup victory in Ulricehamn as one of the athletes of the Norwegian relay team.
