Overview

Elias Ambühl

Switzerland

Pushing the sport to beyond what was previously inconceivable, Elias Ambühl has a knack for learning new tricks before anyone else.

In 2011 at JOI, he was the first skier to land a triple cork 1440 at a Big Air event, changing the sport forever. That year he won JOI, King of Style, Budapest Fridge, Freestyle.ch, Red Bull Playstreets, the European Freeski Open and was the AFP Big Air Champion by a massive margin! More recently, Elias won Frostgun Invitational, One Hit Wonder and took 3rd at the X-Games Big Air (2015 & 2016). He also became second in the 2 AFP Big Air World Champion ranking in those two seasons. Fiercely focused, Elias has many more innovations to present the world.
