ATOMIC SPEED TEAM WITH HOMOGENOUS FITNESS MIT HOMOGENEM FORMAUFBAU
The speed unit in the Atomic team is getting up to speed, where it’s desirable for all of them to be constantly fit throughout the whole World Championship season. In the Super G in Val Gardena Adrian Smiseth Sejersted, Andreas Sander and Mauro Caviezel came in 8th, 10th and 11th places. In the downhill on the Saslong piste only two Atomic racers were in the Top 30 on the start list, and on the results list it was finally eight. Travis Ganong, making a comeback, missed the podium by only 13 hundredths of a second. “We only need to be a bit more patient for podium results. I’m convinced it’s just a matter of time”, according to Höflehner.
A FULLY PACKED RACE PROGRAMME BEFORE CHRISTMAS
Before Marcel Hirscher can celebrate Christmas as a dad, there are four races still to be fought for: the parallel Giant Slalom in Alta Badia, Giant Slalom, and Slalom in Saalbach-Hinterglemm and the Night Slalom in Madonna di Campiglio. This week the Ladies have their speed races in Val Gardena, as well as the Giant Slalom and Slalom in Courchevel.
