Lighten the load, feel the control and let the power flow – that’s the design thinking behind the Atomic Redster S9 boot. The Race Fit and Prolink Racing Split Sole SK makes your foot feel precise and light as a feather while the Low Cut inner boot construction is built just like a running shoe, shaving off even more weight. As for acceleration, our Carbon Power Base SK is made from one single piece of carbon with a dedicated skating flex so you can really feel that power transmission, while the Carbon Loaded Cuff stabilizes your ankle. The boot comes with Quicklace – stretch laces that are quick and easy to tighten even with gloves on, and a Sidas Insole so you can compete in comfort. The Prolink outsole means it works with all 2-rail bindings including NNN® and Turnamic®.

Good boots bad laces
Overall the boots are solid for my needs, I'm not an expert but do a fair amount of mileage and some racing. My biggest issue is the lacing system, I can't get the lacing right, and this system is constantly loosening during my sessions. A boa or regular laces would be better. I will likely swap out the quick lace for regular lacing

Disappointment
I was ATOMIC boots fan, before i bought this model; 15 years i used ATOMIC Carbon Skate and Carbon Classic boots (white/red design), ran a thousands of km's and was absolutely happy with them (both appearance and functionality)
Once saw this new model i realized- that's the replacement! bought them online (brand new) and when it comes, i was a bit confused by odd inner engineering: inner boot extremely short (even in compare to my old carbon Classic) just imagine short keds inside your skate boots with the same keds primitive lacing system; also a big question for me: why are laces sooo long? Outer zippers don't work glide, my proposal- they won't serve long;
Yesterday i had a first training with them and it turned into a torture ((( as a result i have horrible bloody callus on inner parts of my feet because of too hard and razor sharp edge of the insoles;
I also noticed imperfections on front part of outer shell in places of boots flexing (my old boots rarely have it after 15 years)
In compare to my old ATOMIC carbon boots, i have to say this model is a huge decreasing ((
Well... Ok, I'd prefer old inner boot in this new model design))
P.S. i agree with a viewer who sad about perfect ski control and balance etc., But who cares when your feet are bleeding?!
