Great pop and float, while still providing stability. The Bent Chetler 120 skis surprisingly well on groomed slopes as well thanks to the camber under foot.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-11-28</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-11-28" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1150005405"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">ryans_myth</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">My favorite ski!</span> <span itemprop="description">As an east cost skier, riding the Chetler 120 was a bit of a gamble. But man, did it pay off! I'm constantly surprised by the 120's short turning radius and ability to hold an edge on hard pack. Of course, it's fantastic in pow. However, I purchased it mainly as a light weight ski for touring, that still maintains a lot of downhill performance. Super happy I went this route! Plus the graphics are always killer</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-11-17</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-11-17" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1132146320"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">LaykDogTheSkier</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Surprisingly versatile. Good In all conditions</span> <span itemprop="description">I weigh 135 pounds and I'm 5'6" at an expert level. I was a little torn to buy these or bent 110s and I'm really happy about the bent Chetler 120 because they are very floaty and inspire me to butter around in soft snow. These are very stable at speed while also having a short enough radius to take them on groomers if you really need. I would recommend these to anyone that lives in a place that gets fresh snow often and has steeper terrain like Wyoming or Montana. But for the midwestern and eastern states I would consider sizing down to the 110 or 100. all around great durable ski and I love using it from pow to even crud.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-01-11</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-01-11" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1131871127"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">KJ Read</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Best Powder Ski Around</span> <span itemprop="description">These skis float through the powder with total control. The recommended mount may seem far forward but I would recommend going with it as the longer tail helps with control and creates a playful yet sturdy base. While these are my powder ski, I find they handle incredibly well on groomers and harder packed snow as well and often find myself using them between snowfalls.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-01-07</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-01-07" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1130788200"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">TNT92</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Amazing Powder Ski</span> <span itemprop="description">I own the 184 which for my height ( 5'8 or 174 cm) works great for pushing this ski to it's limits. The mount point is farther forward than what I was used to coming from a mogul skiing background. It took me a little while to realize how this all works. Because of this, the ski wants you to sit a little back in order to get the edge to engage easily. This is great for powder skiing especially when you're jumping as it helps float when you land and allows the best range of your body. Very different than my mogul skis but they are for very different snow types and skiing positions so the skis shape, mount position, and flex pattern mimic what you'd want. In other words, this ski is different than your 100 underfoot ski, and takes a little bit to realize the body position to get it to shine.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-12-19</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-12-19" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1128943435"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Riko</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Surprisingly Versatile Ski</span> <span itemprop="description">I have had this ski for 3 seasons and have added many others to my quiver, however, the Bent 120 continues to be my favorite of them all. Obviously, this ski performs best on a deep powder day, but I still am surprised at how versatile this ski is in all conditions. As an ex-ski racer, I love how well this ski carves on groomers yet can handle a day of chunder with no problem. I use this ski in and out of bounds with the shift binding, and it is the definition of an all-around ski. Highly recommend getting a pair of these skis.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-11-18</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-11-18" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1126672816"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">BrookeShiny</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Surfy Performance Ski</span> <span itemprop="description">At first I thought 120 underfoot would feel ridiculous, but after skiing this ski over years and around the world in every condition imaginable, I am floored with how adaptable and fun it is! Primarily, I have skied this ski in Japan and Alaska where it really gets a chance to shine, bouncing playfully through powder and opening up on big alpine lines. But I find myself even reaching for this ski out of my quiver for just a normal resort day as you can even carve, surprisingly enough, due to its excellent design!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-10-07</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-10-07" /> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-reviews--> <!--begin-pagination--> <ul id="bvseo-paginationSection"> <li class="bvseo-paginationItem"><a class="bvseo-paginationLink" href="https://www.atomic.com/en-us/shop/product/bent-chetler-120-aa6649.html?bvstate=pg:2/ct:r">BENT CHETLER 120 Reviews - page 2</a></li> </ul> <!--end-pagination--> <ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2026, m_8, d_2, h_9</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.48</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_32</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_US, sid_AA6649_bv36_, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=RATING, direction=DESCENDING), SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_atomic</li> </ul> <!--end-bvseo-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEOSDK_meta" style="display:none !important;"> <li data-bvseo="sdk">bvseo_sdk, p_sdk, 3.2.1</li> <li data-bvseo="sp_mt">CLOUD, getReviews, 5.76ms</li> <li data-bvseo="ct_st">REVIEWS, PRODUCT</li> </ul>
