Tell us about yourself!
Hi, my name is Oskar Roner, and I am a 14-year-old freeride skier. I live in Lake Tahoe, California. I ski for the Olympic Valley freeride team. I had a great season, making it to the Junior Freeride Championships. Sadly, I fell trying a cork 720 in finals, but still had a great time. Activities I enjoy outside of skiing include soccer and golf. My best trick on skis is a double cork 1260. My favorite feeling is waking up on a powder day.
What do you like to do in the off-season?
In the summers, I play on the Tahoe City Golf team. I have won the tour championships 3 years in a row. Last summer, I participated in the "Drive Chip & Put" tour, and I made it to the semi-finals!! So close to getting the opportunity to go to the Masters in Augusta, Georgia. I am also playing soccer all summer so that I can make the varsity High School team as a freshman.
What is something exciting you have planned for next season?
I am moving up to the older age group and I am excited to compete. My biggest goal is to make it to norams. I also would like to learn how to do a double cork 1440.

My perfect resort skiing day is waking up at 5 am, getting first chair. It's a bluebird day, but still cold, so the snow stays good, and I have a bag of peanut M&M's in my pocket. I would also like there to be minimal avalanche danger.
What is your favorite snack while skiing?
My favorite snack is peanut M&M's or a cookie from Wild Flour.

Tell us about yourself!
Hi! I'm Taryn Moe and I love ski racing, mountain biking, hiking, and skateboarding, but nothing beats being outside with friends. I also love to freeski, hit big jumps into powder, and shred park and rails. This year I landed four double backflips to my feet and made big progress on rails.
What do you like to do in the off-season?
I love to mountain bike, hike, skateboard, and spend time outside with my friends. I’m always looking for ways to stay active, have fun, and keep building strength for ski season. I also like hitting the trampoline, working on new tricks, and staying strong with core and mobility training.
What is something exciting you have planned for next season?
My goals for next season are to land a dub 10 and a dub flat 7, get better at swaps and oppo spins on rails, and keep progressing in both park and pow. I also want to ski with my friends, push my limits, and just have a good time while getting better everyday.
Describe your perfect day skiing.
My perfect ski day is when it dumps 2 feet overnight and school gets canceled. I’d head out with a bunch of friends, get some hot laps in, ski deep pow with face shots, then find a jump spot, maybe a kicker or cliff. We’d build a big jump and throw some huge tricks, just sending it and having the best time.
What is your favorite snack while skiing?
Waffle from top of the tram
