Jacoba Kriechmayr is one of the hard charging female freeriders in the European scene. She proofed her talent of going big by winning the overall Austrian Championship in 2015.
Growing up right next to the slopes of Obertauern, Austria her dad put her on skis at the young age of two. Then she followed the classic Austrian ski career skiing around gates for a couple years but quickly discovering her love for going off-piste and skiing powder. Her friends talked her into competing in a freeride contest where she found herself on the podium right away. She liked this competition format and worked her way up to compete at four star events of the Freeride World Tour Qualifiers collecting various podium finishes and a national title along the way. Now her goal is to focus on skiing iconic big lines, filming and producing edits in her home area but also to travel and experience skiing all over the globe.
