JACKSON NATIVE JEFF LEGER'S FIRST-PERSON ACCOUNT OF FRONT-FLIPPING INTO THE INAUGURAL KINGS OF CORBET'S COMPETITION

The 1st Kings and Queens of Corbet's was an all out mind-blow. 25 competitors spent the day in a euphoric haze as they threw high 5's and higher airs into North Americas most famous ski run. All styles of skiing were represented from ex-racers and freestylers to bumpers, powderhounds and air-freaks. This was the ski world equivalent of a slam dunk contest, a chance to showcase the state of the art. Positive vibes reverberated through the competitors and elevated the skiing into the stratosphere. As the day drew to a close and the euphoria lingered, an unspoken understanding that we had been part of a very special moment swept over the entire mountainside. -Leger

“30 world-class skiers and snowboarders gathered atop Jackson Hole, at 10,450 feet above sea level, and performed some of the most fantastic, awe-inspiring aerial maneuvers this editor has ever witnessed.”
