Born and raised in Vail, Colorado skiing was close second to walking. The mountain was her playground, ski school and race programs were her daycare.
She started out as a ski racer but soon discovered her passion in skiing powder. In high school she traded off between race and telemark skis. For the next six years she fully committed to “free heel” bindings and competed in big mountain telemark events, winning the Grand Targhee competition 5 years in a row. Now residing in Alta, Utah she locked the heels down again and is juggling life as a ski bum and Alta clinic nurse. Trying to find a good balance between following her medical business career as a nurse and skiing as many days as possible. Her ultimate dream as a skier is to film and be part of a big movie production and documenting big lines.
