THE COUSIN OF THE WORLD’S BEST CROSS COUNTRY SKIER IS DREAMING OF HER OWN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP START
“Do what you love. Love what you do.” To be a professional athlete is a privilege, says Anne. On top of that, she can call the world’s best female cross country skier her cousin. Marit Bjørgen, six time Olympic Champion, is not only her athletic role model but also part of her family. This can come in handy for Anne to reach her declared goal: to compete for Norway in a World Championship at one point. After a somewhat rocky season due to health issues, she now uses her Redster Classic set up to achieve her goals of the coming season: improving her technique and gaining speed. The Veidekke Team is a B-team, supported by the Norwegian ski association and is the perfect environment for her.
