Today’s skiing superstars Mikaela Shiffrin and Marcel Hirscher have been with us under contract for years. Both are leading the Overall World Cup classifications sovereignly and both are travelling as the benchmark in skiing to the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Åre. However, they are not the only medal candidates; in the current World Championship season Redster athletes have won 26 out of 53 races in the World Cup. The rest of the skiing world, i.e. all other skiing brands together have won 28. These numbers just go to prove Atomic’s dominance, as the world market leader, in ski racing.
Atomic doesn’t have the largest but the best team of top athletes. In six out of nine classifications, they are wearing the red bibs in different disciplines. Goggia, Venier, Schwarz, Feller and Caviezel have played a big part in the power score as well. What’s the secret of success behind Atomic’s power scorecard? Enthusiasm for innovation. Love a challenge. Commitment to give it your best shot. And the big common vision, which unifies everything, and makes the large Atomic Team a close-knit community: products, services and a brand spirit, to make everybody a better skier.
Atomic hasn’t only had ski racing in its DNA for decades, but also the competence to make a group of team players out of highly talented individuals in world-class sport, who can support, strengthen and push each other performance-wise. All this is a basic requirement, if competence and a transfer of know-how are to be successful: from ski racers to ski developers, from ski developers to the service crew everyone is in constant dialogue with the athletes. And, finally from ski racing to millions of people who love skiing. Only the uncompromising development of high-quality products and services makes skiers even better skiers. This is true for beginners. This is true for advanced skiers. And this also applies to the best skiers in the world. Atomic dedicates all its efforts to this transfer, together with a worldwide community of partners, dealers, experts and fans of the strongest brand in winter sports.
At the Alpine World Ski Championships in Åre the leading brand in ski racing will do everything with its top athletes from 13 different countries, to live up to their own high standards. Alongside Mikaela Shiffrin and Marcel Hirscher lots of others in the Redster power lineup also have a chance of winning a medal, especially Marco Schwarz, Manuel Feller, Mauro Caviezel, Daniel Danklmaier, Adrian Smiseth Sejersted for the Men; and Stephanie Venier, Sofia Goggia und Ester Ledecka for the Ladies. And to support them all in Åre with the best material, 20 members of the Atomic support team are travelling to the far north with plenty of skiing equipment and tuning tools in tow.
What’s the only thing that can top this approach and spirit in the Atomic team? It’s the mental support: fans crossing their fingers, all the partners and friends, who feel connected to the big Atomic family, cheering and supporting the athletes on their way.
