This is how a World Cup can begin:

In March Redster biathlete Fanny Horn-Birkeland won gold with the norwegian relay – in the first mixed race of the new season, she was again part of the victorious four in Östersund. Also strong the triple Junior World Champion Victoria Carl: She came in seventh at the season start in the 10 kilometres in Ruka (FIN) in Classic, achieved the best result of the World Cup, and recommended herself in the first race for the Nordic World Cup in Lathi – limit performed! Also Atomic-Star Hanna Falk started into the season with a 9th place in sprint (and the considerable 14th place at the 10km classic competition). In the sprint race of the men Atomic Senior World Champion Sondre Turvoll Fossli demonstrated his strong form with place 11. The second strong Norwegian at the Atomic Nordic Team has done the same: Simen Hegstad Krüger came in 12th at 15km classic race.
