Filip Zubcic

What a sporting nation. The Croatians can do everything and in winter are enthusiastic ski fans. They create a great atmosphere in the finishing area. With Filip Zubcic the next star in the sky of Croatian ski heroes is already shining. The Redster youngster is making his path consistently and professionally. In Sochi the 21 year old sniffed Olympic air for the first time and in Pyeongchang he came 12th in the Combined and 24th in the Giant Slalom. Sure, but what counts there are the medals. A good forecast can also be a source of pleasure: In the last two winters Croatia’s next skiing hero conjured up no less than nine places in the Top 20 of the World on snow. And one thing is clear: Whoever carves his way on the Gran Risa in Alta Badia, one of the most difficult GS slopes in the world, with a start number of 64 up to 7th place on his Redster double deck, has talent, there’s no chance of coincidence. Filip’s got what it takes to stoke up the whole of Croatia in winter.
