ATOMIC LADIES: SOFIA IN SUPER SHAPE, TINA SECOND IN SUPER G, TOP PERFORMANCE
Sofia Goggia is also in top form in the speed disciplines: a second place in the Downhill and third in the Super-G. Five races, three podiums! In the overall World Cup, she is already in 3rd place. Atomic teammate Mikaela Shiffrin who entered strongly into the speed disciplines in Lake Louise (13th in her second Downhill) is still in the lead. Tina Weirather became second in Super-G. Overall, the Redster team performed well in Lake Louise: Mirjam Puchner with a 6th place in the Downhill, Stephanie Venier as 7th, also snowboard World Cup winner Ester Ledecka showed a solid performance in all races.
The ladies are now traveling to Sestriere for a technique weekend, and for the men, again Val d'Isere will be on the agenda this weekend: Giant Slalom and Slalom.
