Two Redster athletes are celebrating again at the Nordic Ski World Championships in Seefeld. Two from the strong combined skiers unit: with the Redster Carbon S9 Fabian Rießle raced competently over the finishing line to the World Championship title for Germany; Franz-Josef Rehrl won his second Bronze medal after another excellent cross-country performance.

FABIAN: REDSTER STAR IN THE COMBINED POWER TEAM
Just to be at the start for Germany in a team sprint competition is just like winning. In the case of Atomic star Fabian Rießle; the nomination was the result of a great season with nine podium places. Accordingly Fabian is a Redster star in the Combined power team. And now also World Champion for the third time in his career! Together with his team colleague the Atomic athlete laid the foundations for the World Championship Gold medal in ski jumping, which the duo then brought home competently from the loipe.

FRANZ-JOSEF: PERFORMANCE JUMP IN CROSS-COUNTRY
The Redster athlete Franz-Josef Rehrl showed in the team sprint, just like in the first World Championship competition the Nordic Combined on the big jump, that he shouldn’t only be confined to top ski jumping results. With his Redster Carbon S9 set up he also produced a great cross-country performance. In the meantime it almost looked like he and his team colleague could challenge the German team in the fight for Gold, but in the end Franz-Josef was still very happy with Bronze medal n° 2 at his home World Championships. “The second medal in my second race, I’m having a great time. Especially because I didn’t win it due to an exceptional performance in ski jumping, but thanks to a great performance in the cross-country. After Fabian won Gold and I won Bronze, this also confirms our work for Atomic. The Redster setup, this perfectionism in the race support for every athlete; if you need more horsepower in the race, then you’ve got that with the Carbon S9. And that’s every time.”

Peter Landl, Atomic Team Manager is really happy and said, “These guys have been really strong all season, and they’ve really earned the medals in the team sprint! We’re happy that both of them didn’t only perform well in ski jumping but also on the course, is confirmation that our strategy not to have the most, but the right athletes in the team, and those with the greatest enthusiasm.”
