WINTER N° 18: WERNER WANTS TO PROVE HIMSELF AGAIN

Werner Heel has spent half of his life in the World Cup. Starting in Lake Louise the 36 year old wants to get off to a flying start in his 18th season and in Beaver Creek compete for his 200th World Cup race, if it goes according to his plans. After the Olympic winter which was difficult for him with only six World Cup races the ski endurance racer from Meran was relegated to the casting squad, although he came second in the European Cup rankings and was able to secure a starting place for Winter 2018/19. His delight in fast turns. His life companion Manuela Mölgg has already retired, complete with her promise to accompany Werner often to his races. His motto remains: “Write your diary, keep your sense of humour and never give up.“
