On-piste. In powder. At the X games. In the world cup. Wherever people ski, Atomic is there – making skiing more exciting, more straightforward, more successful and more fun.
The secret of Atomic’s success: the passion of every employee
Atomic is the world’s number one ski brand. We’re part of Amer Sports Group, a sporting goods company with other internationally recognized brands including Salomon, Wilson, Mavic, Suunto and Precor.
One of the keys to the company’s continuing success lies in where we are: even today the company is located in the heart of the Alps, in Altenmarkt, where it was founded in 1955. Many employees are from the surrounding area and grew up skiing. It’s why every Atomic product is fuelled with the passion with which all Atomic employees live and breathe the sport.
A BRAND FOR SKIERS
Our history is in the world of ski racing. But from these racing roots we’ve grown into a brand that reaches every edge of progressive skiing. Our aim now is to provide every skier with skis, boots, bindings, helmets, protectors, poles and skiwear built to exactly match his or her needs. So thanks to Atomic they can have the best skiing experience possible – whether they want to win a World Cup race, hit the Park and Pipe, head off to the Backcountry or have fun on the piste.
INNOVATIONS THAT TRANSFORM THE MARKET
Innovation has always been an important part of this mission to drive skiing forward – and it’s the case now more than ever. Redster, the fastest race equipment in the world. Hawx, the world’s best-selling medium fit boot. Atomic Skiwear that’s turned layering on its head. Bent Chetler, the powder ski created with freeski legend Chris Bentchetler… There is no skiing discipline where Atomic is not driving progress forward.
Famous skiers past and present have all worn the Atomic star. 70s Olympic legend Annemarie Moser-Pröll used our equipment, as did the equally legendary Marc Girardelli. Today our athletes include alpine superstars like Marcel Hirscher, Mikaela Shiffrin, Benni Raich and Tina Weirather, plus the world’s best park skiers like Elias Ambühl, Gus Kenworthy, Nicky Keefer and Jossi Wells. Freeskiers riding Atomic skis include none other than Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Chris Benchetler, Dana Flahr, Daron Rahlves and Molly Baker. And Nordic athletes Simen Oestensen, Tord Asle Gjerdalen, Marthe Kristoffersen and Claudia Nystad are also part of the worldwide Atomic family.
