The new Backland Drifter is the widest, most progressive ski in our all-new Atomic backcountry touring ski series. It has the best all-terrain downhill performance in the range, but it’s still ideal for the dual disciplines of touring: an Ultralite Woodcore makes climbing easy and energy efficient, with PreFit skins for the Drifter or easily-trimmed MultiFit AM Rocker Skins. A super-stable Carbon Backbone running the length of the ski minimizes weight, while providing outstanding agility and edge hold on the descent. It performs well in any snow, too. You’ve got the option to attach a regular DIN binding and, with the All Mountain Rocker and Step Down Sidewall, you’ll find it an incredible downhill performer – as good on the piste as it is in the backcountry.
