Daron Rahlves is never without the new Atomic Tracker 130 on his backcountry forays.
This boot is a particular favorite with Daron because of its re-designed set-up: while the stiff inside of the boot enables him to apply huge amounts of pressure to the ski, enabling him to edge more aggressively on every turn, the flexible Live Fit zones on the outside of the boot adapt to his forefoot and maintain the natural position of the foot. The boot improves the skier's natural sense of balance considerably while also preventing pressure sores. For effortless climbing in the backcountry the skier can open the Power Control Release. The boot cuff allows for a forward lean angle of 18° and -2° to the rear, enabling the skier to climb efficiently.
