The athlete from Salzburg took off from the bird of prey slope with the Atomic D2 race and – like a bird of prey – preyed a total of 240 world cup points. The material evolution in the Atomic setup supported Hirscher in reaching his 16th world cup podium place.
Top shape. He was skiing as if he had never been gone. 2nd place after the victory on Sunday at the giant slalom double in Beaver Creek for Atomic star Marcel Hirscher! And it was only the third race after his comeback. The new generation of the Atomic D2 race made the athlete from Salzburg fly on the Birds of Prey slope. Continuation: Thursday at the slalom season kick-off.

In collaboration with ATOMIC, freeski pro Chris Benchetler created the ski of his dreams, the Bent Chetler, and ever since then he's never been without it. Since 2009 Chris and ATOMIC have gotten together every year to make the Bent Chetler even better. And the latest model represents the best Bent Chetler ever created.
Zest for action. Marcel Hirscher (22) is a team player. Each and every day, the ATOMIC system athlete (skis, binding, boots, helmet, goggles) who has fully recovered from his scaphoid fracture sustained in February proves this in his preparations. Hirscher himself, his father Ferdinand, ATOMIC boots expert Andreas Dudek and legendary ATOMIC serviceman Edi Unterberger are working on the ideal set-up for the winter.
Sage Cattabriga-Alosa is one of the best freeskiers on the planet. He has been wowing fans for the last nine years with his stand out movie segments in Teton Gravity Research films. The very fact that he bypassed the normal pro-path of gaining a name on the competition circuit or working with smaller freeski filmmakers, and instead went from a total unknown to one of the star regulars in the biggest ski productions speaks volumes for his talent. Last year he decided to try his hand at a bit of competition as well, and immediately found himself at the top of the result sheets. It seems there is literally nothing Sage cannot do with his trusty ATOMIC Bent Chetlers and some steep terrain.

Because Doubledeck skis respond instantly to the individual style of the skier as well as the relevant skiing conditions. The lower adapter deck also adapts to the slope, while the upper control deck distributes power effectively. Five connecting pieces made of elastomers between the upper deck and the lower deck ensure active suspension and very smooth skiing. Which allows for more efficient skiing and effortless ski control.
It was love at first sight. 11 years ago, 13-year-old Carlo Janka (now 24) used ATOMIC skis for the first time and right away, he was triple canton champion. This was followed by a World Championship title, Olympic gold and the overall World Cup victory. The „iceman“ is burning for his 12th ATOMIC season. The preparations are going as well as hardly ever before. The Swiss young star and his ATOMIC serviceman Stefan Viehhauser are getting ready.
Red Racers. While others are still whining about the new FIS regulations concerning sidecuts, ATOMIC has already started developing material for the world championships season 2012/2013. The first prototypes should be tested during future overseas snow trainings of some ATOMIC athletes in the next weeks.

The coat of the featherlight construction receives one of 15 surface patterns by a special machine using rough diamonds. The diamond finishing for a saison with biathlon world championships, tour de ski and the legendary wasa race as highlights for the nordic ATOMIC crew!
Released in fall, a spectacular 52-minute documentary reveals the incredible lives of probably the most ski-obsessed family in the world. "Most people will only know us from competitions, now they can see what we're really like," says Jossi Wells.
