LANDERTINGER VERY CLOSE TO THE PODIUM

Atomic athlete Dominik Landertinger showed a solid performance at the end of the Biathlon World Championships. The world champion of 2009, using Worldcup Skate FL Hard Track, only missed the bronze medal by 9.3 seconds. The summary of the Biathlon World Championships in the Czech Republic:

“What shall I say? It was great performance and almost a perfect race,” Landertinger, who made a mistake in shooting, said after the finals of the world championships (15 km, Mass start). “The top athletes are very close to each other; there are so many good people that hardly make any mistakes. I felt good about my skiing. In the end I missed a medal only by just a few seconds.“

The Atomic athletes achieved solid top results at the biathlon world championships. Dominik Landertinger finished on fifth place in addition to sixth place in Pursuit (12.5 km). Together with Christoph Sumann he was part of the Austrian relay that achieved fifth rank. Landertinger’s conclusion, “I am satisfied with the world championships. For sure, a medal would have been great. But it is important that I have a good feeling on my skis and fun with what I do and that I can keep up with the best athletes of the world. This will automatically lead to podium results in the future.”
