KILIAN JORNET WINS PATROUILLE DES GLACIERS

Atomic athlete Kilian Jornet came in first place at the Patrouille des Glaciers 2012. Struggling with warm winds, he and his team mates prevailed against the competition, winning the race with a clear margin.

Atomic Athlete Mike Riddle finishes the season in the best possible way by winning the gold medal in the superpipe at the WSI AFP World Championship in Whistler, Canada.

SUMANN RELOADED: EVERYTHING IS NEW, BUT ATOMIC STAYS

Cross-Country racer athlete Fredrik Karlsson was killed in an accident with a snowmobile in Bruksvallarna on Thursday. Atomic grieves for a strong athlete and an exceptional person.

KILIAN JORNET WINS SKI MOUNTAINEERING OVERALL WORLD CUP

Atomic athlete Kilian Jornet successfully concluded this year’s ski mountaineering season last weekend, taking home the Overall World Cup. Together with his successes in the Sprint and Individual Races in Tromsø/Norway, his performance this year earned the Spaniard the overall victory.

KILIAN JORNET WINS TOUR DU RUTOR

Atomic athlete Kilian Jornet and his team colleague Frenchman Matheo Jacquemoud won the Italian Tour Du Rutor Ski Mountaineering competition. In three stages, the team clinched the victory after a challenging race from March 30 - April 1, 2012.

CARLO JANKA AND ATOMIC: FOLLOWING OUR WAY OF SUCCESS

Carlo Janka and ATOMIC have extended their successful partnership until 2016. The 26 year old Swiss from now on not only use ATOMIC skis, boots and binding, but also helmet and goggles. ANDERS AUKLAND WINS SKI CLASSICS OVERALL RANKING

Perfect finish. First the Birkebeinerrennet, then the season’s finals in Sweden’s Vaalaadalen – ATOMIC athlete Anders Aukland won two races in a row on the new ATOMIC World Cup Classic Featherlight SDS and the ATOMIC Worldcup Classic Boot, which was a perfect final sprint leading to the victory of the Ski Classics ranking. The Norwegian won the Classics series, consisting of 7 races, by 2 points.

Kilian Jornet in second place at Marmotta Trophy

Atomic athlete Kilian Jornet came in second place at the Marmotta Trophy in the Martell Valley (South Tyrol/ Italy). On a technically challenging course he finished the race only slightly behind the winner.

ANDERS AUKLAND: VICTORY IN RECORD TIME AT CLASSICS RACE IN LILLEHAMMER

ATOMIC athlete Anders Aukland achieved his first victory of a Ski Classics race – and made it in record time! The Norwegian won the 54km Birkebeinerrennet in 2:21:34 hours, 2:59 minutes faster than the best time of 2008. At the cross-country skiing World Cup finals in Falun (SWE) Marthe Kristoffersen finished third in the 2,5km race.

MARCEL HIRSCHER CROWNS SUCCESSFUL ATOMIC SEASON

Marcel Hirscher has achieved his goal. On Sunday, the ATOMIC star received the Big Crystal Globe for the victory of the Overall World Cup in Schladming. Hirscher crowned a successful season for ATOMIC with highlights like the victory of the Overall World Cup and the Men’s Giant Slalom World Cup as well as the Slalom World Cup (Marlies Schild) and the Overall Europa Cup (Lisa Magdalena Agerer) in the ladies’ unit.

LISA AGERER PREDOMINATELY WINS THE EUROPA CUP

ATOMIC young star Lisa Magdalena Agerer crowns her streak of success in the Europa Cup – 8 victories in a row in 3 different disciplines, 7 of these within 14 days – with the predominant victory of the Europa Cup. Additionally the 20-year-old Italian also wins the giant slalom and downhill ranking. On Sunday, Agerer will participate in the World Cup finals in Schladming.

ATOMIC DAY IN SCHLADMING: HIRSCHER WINS OVERALL WORLD CUP

ATOMIC Day in Schladming: two victories, three crystal globes and many tears of happiness! Marcel Hirscher risked everything in the second heat on his ATOMIC D2 RACE and it paid off – his 9th victory of the season, resulting in the victory of the giant slalom World Cup and the leadership of the overall World Cup by 25 points before the final slalom on Sunday. Michaela Kirchgasser won the slalom and Marlies Schild, ranking third, won her 5th crystal globe.

ANDREAS HÅTVEIT WINS BRONZE IN EURO X GAMES SLOPE-STYLE!

Passion and commitment have once again paid off for ANDREAS HåTVEIT Who showed incredible consistency by winning the BRONZE MEDAL AT EURO X GAMES, only a few days after winning the Austrian FREESKI open. THE ATOMIC Athlete just managed to squeeze past the eliminations the day before but brought his a-game to the finals, taking home his second X Games medal of the year, this time in Tignes, France. Americans Bobby Brown and Tom Wallisch rounded off the podium, taking first and second respectively.

MARCEL HIRSCHER ACCOMPLISHES SUPER-G SENSATION

3rd place in the forth World Cup super-G of his life! Marcel Hirscher accomplished a sensation at the season’s finals in Schladming and gained 60 points on his ATOMIC D2 RACE. Two more races to go and the ATOMIC star might still win the overall World Cup; he’s only behind by 75 points.

TINA WEIRATHER SECURES 2ND PLACE IN THE DOWNHILL WORLD CUP ON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS SLOPE

Fantastic performance by 22-year-old ATOMIC Young Star Tina Weirather. On the ATOMIC D2 RACE the Liechtensteiner finished on place 4 on the 2013 World Ski Championships slope in Schladming. This was her 8th top-10 result in 8 downhill races. This means: 2nd place in the downhill World Cup in her comeback season. Fantastic as well: ATOMIC All-Star Benjamin Raich surprised with his best downhill result – 5th place!

HIRSCHER CATCHES UP IN THE WORLD CUP

3rd place in giant slalom and 60 World Cup points for Marcel Hirscher. The race on the ATOMIC D2 RACE to catch up has started successfully at the double of technical events in Kranjska Gora. Hirscher will keep the Red Tricot in the giant slalom ranking until the season's finals in Schladming and is ahead by 92 points.

ATOMIC PRESENTS THE 10TH ANNUAL AUSTRIAN FREESKI OPEN

Atomic is proud to present the 10th annivesary of Europe’s premiere slopestyle competition, the Austrian Freeski Open. At its home resort of Kitzsteinhorn, the AFO will host the world’s best freeskiers from the 7th to the 10th of March. Included in this elite group are Atomic’s very own Elias Ambühl, Jossi Wells, and defending AFO champion Andreas Håtveit.

MARLIES EXCITED OVER SLALOM CRYSTAL GLOBE #4

High-class skiing has many faces – in slalom, it was once again Marlies Schild’s! Despite mistakes in both runs and 3rd place in the end, she has already gained the slalom World Cup title for the forth time. “It’s great that everything’s already settled. Now I will be able to race even more freely in the remaining races.“ Marlies is excited about slalom crystal globe #4 and still has the chance in this season to become the best female slalom racer of history.

BENJAMIN RAICH: „ENTHUSIASM IS DRIVING ME“

Downright. Atomic all star Benjamin Raich has almost won all that there is to win. Two Olympic gold medals, three world champion titles, the overall world cup, 36 world cup races. Just recently, almost exactly one year after the cruciate ligament rupture, he won his first Super-G in Crans Montana. Atomic interviewed Raich on the day after his 34th birthday in Kvitfjell. It was 5834 days after the world cup career of an exceptional athlete began here in Norway.

MARCEL HIRSCHER AND ATOMIC: TOGETHER HEADING INTO THE FUTURE

Surprise coup. Martin Koukal won the last FIS marathon competition before the Wasa Race on the upcoming Sunday. The 50km skating world champion of 2003 raced to his first victory in the FIS marathon cup on the Atomic World Cup Classic in the 50km race of the 39th Finlandia Hiihto in Lahti. In the overall marathon cup, the Czech now ranks forth.

KILIAN JORNET WINS VERTICAL RACE OF TROFEO DELL’ETNA

Atomic athlete Kilian Jornet won the Vertical Race of the Trofeo Dell‘etna in Sicily/ Italy. On the technically challenging terrain he pulled ahead of his contestants with a slight margin.

MARCEL HIRSCHER EXTENDS WORLD CUP LEADERSHIP

Second place in the giant slalom in Crans Montana, 80 precious World Cup points for Marcel Hirscher. The ATOMIC star stays focused in competing for the Overall World Cup, "I can't allow myself to drop out, so this is definitely one of the most important podium places ever." In the super-G in Bansko, Tina Weirather also ranked second.

ATOMIC ALL-STAR BENJAMIN RAICH WINS HIS FIRST SUPER-G

806 days after his last World Cup victory it’s time again: ATOMIC-All-Star Benjamin Raich wins the super-G in Crans Montana. A triumph which he literally announced himself - after yesterday’s top-3 finish. He stormed to his first ever speed victory, on the same 213 cm long ATOMIC D2 RACE SG.

MARCEL HIRSCHER IS LEADING THE OVERALL WORLD CUP

Quarter Finals, 30 points at the parallel-event in Moscow for ATOMIC-star Marcel Hirscher; thus, the winner of eight races this season is again the new number 1 in the World Cup. In the women's competition, Kranjska-Gora winner Michaela Kirchgasser finished second.

Race checkup. It is the evening before the giant slalom of Bansko. And this is just another example for any evening before any race. We are allowed to accompany Marcel Hirscher during his race preparations – and nothing is left to chance.

TWICE THE FUN FOR MARCEL HIRSCHER

Victory x 2. After succeeding in the giant slalom, ATOMIC-Star Marcel Hirscher also wins the slalom in Bansko. This marks his eight victory of the season, the fourth slalom victory on the ATOMIC RACE 165 SL. Hirscher takes the maximum of 200 World Cup points from Bulgaria, leading the Giant Slalom World Cup and ranking second in the Slalom- and overall World Cup. The race for points once again will be on at Tuesday’s parallel-event in Moscow.

VICTORY AND RED JERSEY FOR MARCEL HIRSCHER

25 days after first place in Schladming, Marcel Hirscher continued his series of victories on the ATOMIC D2 RACE. The victory in giant slalom in Bansko was his tenth in World Cup, the seventh in this season. In Bulgaria, the ATOMIC star could put on the red jersey of the World Cup leader in the giant slalom ranking. In the overall World Cup ranking Hirscher is currently missing 48 points for the second position. A slalom race is scheduled for Sunday.

KILIAN JORNET WINS GOLD MEDAL IN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP VERTICAL RACE

ATOMIC athlete Kilian Jornet won the vertical race of the European Championships in Pelvoux (FRA). On this technically challenging terrain, he pulled ahead of his contestants by a large margin.

BENJAMIN WEGER HEADS TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH THREE PODIUM PLACES

Place 3 for Benjamin Weger in the sprint of Kontiolahti, the last Biathlon World Cup station before the World Championships. Two weeks before the World Championships in Ruhpolding, the Swiss achieved his third podium place of the season racing with the ATOMIC WORLD CUP SKATE. Just in time for the World Championships, his ATOMIC colleague Christoph Sumann made his way back to the world’s elite by ranking sixth in pursuit.

THE RIGHT SKI IN ANY SITUATION - SCHILD WINS IN SOLDEU

Slalom victory number 33 for Marlies Schild, the sixth in this season - the ATOMIC queen continued her series at the World Cup debut in Andorra. ATOMIC colleague Kathrin Zettel finished on 3rd place, which was her second podium place this season. Kranjska Gora winner Michaela Kirchgasser ranked ninth, 16-year-old ATOMIC Kitten Mikaela Shiffrin finished on place 10.

OLYMPIC CHAMPION BILL DEMONG FASTEST IN THE SKI RUN

Extremely cold, extremely good! News of success for ATOMIC after the ice-cold weekend of the nordic athletes! Olympic Champion Bill Demong (USA) achieved the best time in the ski run at the world championships dress rehearsal of the nordic combined athletics in Val di Fiemme and finished on the podium after he ranked 17th after the jumping. ATOMIC Athlete Marthe Kristoffersen (NOR) also achieved 3rd place in the 10 km mass start race at the world cup in Rybinsk, Russia.

ERIK GUAY AND TINA WEIRATHER ON THE DOWNHILL PODIUM

World Champion Erik Guay was rewarded with place 3 in the downhill in the "fridge" of Chamonix. After exciting few hundredths of seconds, which led to place 4 the day before, the ATOMIC DOUBLEDECK now carried Guay to the World Cup podium. This also happened to ATOMIC young star Tina Weirather in the ladies' race - she also reached place 3 in the downhill of Garmisch.

DOUBLE VICTORY FOR AUKLAND BROTHERS

Third coup at the Marcialonga! On Sunday, Atomic athlete Jörgen Aukland won the 70 kilometer cross-country skiing marathon classics in Italy for the third time after 2003 and 2006. This happened after an incredible race to catch up from kilometer 40 onwards and an exciting finish sprint against his elder brother and Atomic colleague Anders.

GLORY GUAY IN GARMISCH, ATOMIC KITTEN IN ST. MORITZ

The world champion is back on the podium. ATOMIC star Eric Guay ranked 2nd on the shortened Kandahar 2 in Garmisch. Despite a cold but because he loves Garmisch, where he became world champion and won twice. At the ladies' downhill in St. Moritz, 22-year-old ATOMIC kitten Tina Weirather finished on 3rd place.

JOSSI WELLS WINS BRONZE IN X GAMES BIG AIR!

Atomic athlete Jossi Wells couldn’t be happier. A world class performance in front of the world stage saw the kiwi superstar win the bronze medal in Big Air at X games in Aspen Colorado.

An ecstatic Andreas Håtveit won a well deserved bronze at X Games Slopestyle this Thursday. After qualifying in fourth place earlier in the day, in the most competitive field yet seen at x, the Atomic athlete upped the ante in the finals under the lights in Aspen, Colorado reaching the coveted podium.

FIRST SLALOM VICTORY FOR MICHAELA KIRCHGASSER

Winning feels so great! ATOMIC lady Michaela Kirchgasser won her first World Cup slalom in Kranjska Gora only a few days after she returned from a break caused by a knee injury. The athlete from Salzburg knew well how to replace Marlies Schild, who dropped out in the first heat. Kathrin Zettel impressively improved from place 17 to place 5.

NERVES OF STEEL: HIRSCHER'S FIRST HOME VICTORY

Top slalom performance and nerves of steel: ATOMIC star Marcel Hirscher achieved his 6^thvictory of the season in the night race of Schladming, which was his first victory in front of local audience. All of this happened after two drop outs in a row and the fuss about how he allegedly straddled a gate. ATOMIC supported Hirscher with the extra-light 'vultures beak' on the nose of the ski to prevent from straddling gates.

HÜTTENRALLYE WITH ATOMIC-STAR RAHLVES AS DEFENDING CHAMP

Back to the roots! “The white ecstasy” in the birthplace of skiing. In St. Anton am Arlberg, Atomic free-ski star Daron Rahlves will head-to-head defend his title in the Red Bull Hüttenrallye in the free-ski 6-cross competition on 27 and 28 January. Starting for Atomic as well: Matthias Haunholder.

Before the race is after the race. When Marcel Hirscher is still inspecting the World Cup slope before the first run of a race, his bags are already ready for departure. Professional skiing requires a lot of material. Perfect logistics and well-planned packing concern any professional racer. We are packing bags and car trunks with Marcel Hirscher, Philipp Schörghofer, Joachim Puchner, Mario Scheiber and their Atomic ski-tech crew.
