THE ISLANDER IS HERE TO STAY AMONG THE WORLD ELITE OF CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
With her passion for sport she could have gone far in any discipline: hockey, football, athletics or mountaineering. Marthe Kristoffersen only chose cross-country skiing when her parents moved from the Norwegian island of Vannøya (880 inhabitants on 232 km2) to Meråker, near Trondheim. It was a good decision, as "Stoffers", as she is known, is one of her generation's best and is here to stay among the world elite of cross-country skiing. Her motto is "never give up!" The future Atomic star is a strong favorite for the Nordic World Championships at Falun in 2015.
