Atomic skis crushing it in industry gear reviews

The results are in and fourteen different skis from Atomic’s new 2012/13 line collectively earned 34 awards this fall from the top U.S. ski-focused print magazines including Powder, Backcountry, Freeskier, Ski, Skiing, Outside, Mountain, as well as online publication, Onthesnow.com.

Leading the charge are two brand new skis from Atomic: the Automatic and the Ritual. The Automatic, which scored 7 awards from the top publications, was created with the help of Atomic athletes Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Dana Flahr to give them a hard charging powder weapon with a more directional shape than the playful Bent Chetler. The all new Ritual, part of the Atomic Vantage Series, collected 6 awards including a #3 Draft pick from Powder Magazine and one of Outside Magazine’s Gear of the Year awards. One Powder tester even said. “This incredibly fast and versatile ski has more fun than a tornado in a trailer park!”

And not to be forgotten, the Atomic Bent Chetler snagged Powder Magazine’s #1 Draft pick in the powder category this year securing its position as the best powder ski of 12/13!

On the ladies’ side, the Affinity Storm received Skiing Magazine’s top honor, Tester Choice 2013, along with other honors, while the brand new Millennium proved itself as Atomic’s best high performance powder ski winning 3 awards – Freeskier Magazine’s Editor’ Choice, Skiing Magazine’s 2013 Official Selection and Backcountry Magazine’s Gear Guide Select.

Representing every category of the 2012/13 Atomic collection, individual skis took home a lot of glory in the US market. “All of us at Atomic are incredibly honored to have received such great recognition for such key products,” says Jake Strassburger, Atomic’s Alpine Product Category Manager. “These accolades help us keep driving our brand momentum in the US and we look forward to continuing to develop amazing equipment for skiers everywhere.”
