From an instant best-fit to genuine World Cup equipment: The protection highlights of 2012/13

Thanks to Atomic's lightweight helmets and protectors, every skier can rest assured of safety. New to the range: Live Fit, the helmet capable of adapting instantly to the shape of the head.

Atomic's helmets and protectors provide reliable protection and are so lightweight, breathable and comfortable that you hardly notice them. For 2012/13 Atomic is offering bespoke equipment for every target group – from race helmets to back protectors for kids.

New to the range: Live Fit technology for helmets
The Live Fit helmet is one of the most spectacular additions to the collection: it instantly adapts to the shape of the skier's head, providing gentle but firm all-round protection. Because it fits more precisely than conventional helmets, it also provides more reliable protection. At the same time the Live Fit technology makes the helmet especially comfortable – even in warmer temperatures, since the ventilation system is fully adjustable and the ear pads are removable.

World Cup helmet for leisure racers: the Redster FIS
This winter every skier can wear the original helmet of Marcel Hirscher: the Redster FIS. The new model is designed for racers who like to push to the limit and combines FIS-certified protection with a precision fit. The Instant Fit system adapts the helmet to the individual shape of the skier's head, while the passive ventilation system aids performance through the permanent exchange of air.

New protector: the Live Shield Vest
In addition to the helmet collection Atomic has also expanded its range of high-grade back protectors for 2012/13. The Live Shield Vest is a new addition: it protects the back from injury without compromising freedom of movement and is also lightweight and breathable.
